Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc in Texas seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician specializing in cranes. You will perform maintenance, repair, and inspections on cranes and hoists at customer sites, often after-hours and on-call to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, and safety inspections with reporting duties. You will work with a team and participate in company training and the 5 Marks program, with diverse shifts and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must commit to working and driving safely.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• On-call and after-hours service as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete work daily.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Maintain ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Attend trainings and seminars and participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
