Job summary

MindCare Solutions is seeking Licensed Mental Health Providers (LCSW, LPC, LMHP) for on-site positions in a correctional setting. You will perform intake screenings, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for incarcerated individuals, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Provider (LCSW, LPC, LMHP) in CO.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience (correctional, forensic, or inpatient preferred).
• Experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, including suicide prevention.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a secure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake screenings, risk evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations for incarcerated individuals.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Perform crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation per facility/state/federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical staff, correctional officers, and stakeholders for coordinated care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and correctional healthcare policies.
• Provide psychoeducation on mental health, coping strategies, and medications where applicable.
• Coordinate with community providers for continuity of care after release.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safety in the correctional setting.
