Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a qualified clinician to perform on-site medical assessments at designated correctional facilities. You will be responsible for daily patient visits, documentation, and 24/7 on-call coverage to ensure continuous care.

The role requires an active medical license (MD/DO/NP/PA), DEA registration, board certification, and BLS. You will coordinate with facility staff, review records, and sign orders while adhering to facility policies and ACH standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid medical license (MD, DO, NP, or PA) in the state.
• Current board certification in an appropriate primary care specialty.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience in primary care, corrections, and managed health care delivery.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform problem-focused medical assessments on-site at correctional facilities.
• Document hours and provide 24/7 on-call services.
• Examine patients on-site until all needed are seen.
• Prescribe medications and treatments with clinical judgment.
• Review medical records and sign off on orders.
• Coordinate off-site referrals with facility staff when needed.
• Attend ACH medical conferences at least once per year.
