Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a licensed physician to provide on-site medical services within a correctional facility. You will perform problem-focused assessments, sign orders, prescribe medications, and review patient records to support comprehensive care.

The role requires valid MD/DO, board certification, DEA registration, BLS, and experience in primary care or corrections. On-site presence is essential, with 24/7 on-call responsibilities and regular facility coverage.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid medical license in the state of service.
• Board certification is required/currently held.
• DEA registration active and current.
• Possible collaborative agreement as required by state.
• Experience in primary care, corrections, or managed care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform problem-focused medical assessments on-site.
• Prescribe medications within prescriptive authority and clinical judgement.
• Review patient records and sign medical orders.
• Maintain on-site presence until all patients are seen.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage and back-up on-site as needed.
• Comply with facility policies and participate in conferences.
• Drive the vehicle as required for facility coverage.
