Blentech Corporation is seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder Technician I in Columbus, IN. This role involves assembling and wiring industrial control panels according to engineering schematics, ensuring quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the field, proficiency with electrical tools, and a strong understanding of safety standards like UL508A. This is a full-time, on-site position with an attractive pay range of $21.85–$25.61 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical assembly or control panel building.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• 3+ years of experience as a Control Panel Technician or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Layout and mount components onto backplates according to engineering drawings.
• Perform wiring using various wire gauges ensuring secure connections.
• Conduct continuity tests and power-up checks on panels.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Familiarity with UL508A and NEC standards

Attention to detail

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical certification in Electrical Technology or Mechatronics
