Job summary

Gordon Prill, Inc. is a dynamic Design-Build firm rooted in Silicon Valley at Sunnyvale, CA with a 45-year history of delivering projects.

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to manage on-site construction activities across industrial, lab and high-tech facilities, coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers and project teams. The role involves on-site supervision, safety enforcement, scheduling, QA/QC, and close collaboration with EH&S and inspectors to ensure programs meet

Qualifications

Clear communication and documentation skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and teams.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Must be able to interpret project plans, specs and requirements.
Motivated, reliable, punctual with strong written and verbal communication.
Team player who can work independently when needed.
Must be local to SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities

Work with in-house Architects, Engineers, Designers and Construction Personnel on multiple sized projects from $50k to $10M.
Facilitate, coordinate and manage all field aspects of projects.
On-site project setup and mobilization and scheduling taught to create project schedules.
Conduct regular subcontractor coordination and safety meetings.
Maintain daily logs and field documents; ensure accurate as-built records.
