Job summary

AEA Investors is seeking a Scheduler to provide technical support for construction projects within the Washington, D.C. area.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, codes, and specifications, with a focus on schedule development and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or related experience) and at least 2 years in the industry, demonstrating strong communication and leadership abilities and proficiency in schedule software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (or related experience).
  • 2 years of industry experience required.
  • Strong communication, leadership and scheduling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Update project schedules regularly.
  • Conduct basic quality checks and assessments.
  • Use schedule software effectively.
  • Generate schedule reports and narratives.
  • Ensure schedule compliance with contract requirements.
  • Log schedule data.
  • Demonstrate understanding of critical path method.
  • Lead and manage change management, delays, and claims.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
