Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in construction safety or equivalent CSP/OHST/CHST.
• Five years of experience in building construction safety.
• OSHA 500 or 502 training within four years.
• Current first aid, CPR and AED training within two years.
• Experience with fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane/equipment operations, electrical, and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Administers both the GC and Owner safety program requirements.
• Develops specific onsite programs, as required.
• Performs site audits for unsafe practices, makes recommendations and corrects as needed.
• Trains personnel in safety procedures and toolbox talks.
• Reports workers' compensation claims and administers on-site WC for injuries.
• Maintains HAZCOM records and safety documentation; reports to Owner.
• Assists in developing and maintaining Hazard Analysis Documentation.
• Administers First Aid, CPR, AED as required.
• Stays current on safety regulations and standards.
• Performs other duties to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
