Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• BCSP certification is required (CHST, ASP preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA guidelines, regulations and safety programs.
• Ability to produce clear reports, develop procedures, and implement effective safety solutions.
• Excellent hazard recognition, data analysis and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture by drafting and enforcing health and safety policies.
• Lead safety programs, plans and JHAs on the project.
• Monitor compliance and document findings; communicate updates.
• Identify hazards early and recommend preventive measures.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain regular on-site presence and participate in project meetings.
• Ensure work follows manuals and contract requirements; keep logs of inspections.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure EHS compliance.
• Investigate accidents or near misses and follow up on corrective actions.
• Enforce PPE usage and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the project with additional safety initiatives as needed.
