Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee on-site Contractor Quality Control at the Vandenberg Space Force Base project in California.

You will lead the CQC program, ensure inspections, documentation, and testing meet contract requirements, and coordinate with project teams. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management and at least four years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Minimum of four years of construction experience on work similar to the requirements of this Contract.
• Demonstrated ability to manage an on-site Contractor Quality Control program and coordinate multiple quality activities.
• Knowledge of construction inspection, testing, documentation, deficiency tracking, and corrective action processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Strong leadership, organization, documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, testing personnel, and government representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site Contractor Quality Control program and manage all activities.
• Act with authority on all CQC matters on behalf of the prime Contractor.
• Maintain on-site presence during construction with approved alternate coverage.
• Coordinate preparatory, initial, and follow-up phases of control for applicable features of work.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, testing personnel, and other quality control resources.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit required CQC documentation and quality records.
• Communicate quality requirements and corrective actions to project teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project management, safety personnel, subcontractors, testing agencies, and government representatives.
• Identify quality concerns and verify corrective actions are completed before proceeding.
