Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction CQA Field Inspector for a dedicated on-site assignment in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on safety, quality assurance, and coordination among engineer of record, Client, and Contractor on a large civil project.

Responsibilities include monitoring earthwork, grading, and testing programs, maintaining documentation, and supporting certification and record drawings. Portable labs and field testing experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate's degree or technical training is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years related construction inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative and maintain a safe working environment.
• Act as liaison between engineer of record, Client, and Contractor for day-to-day field activities.
• Monitor and document earthwork, mass grading, and related civil construction activities for design conformance.
• Oversee testing and documentation of soils, concrete, asphalt, geosynthetics, and related materials.
