Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Project Manager II to serve as the on-site Gilbane manager, responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a medium-sized construction project. This position will be on the job site every day and will fill a key role on the project team.

You will lead a high-performing team, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while delivering quality outcomes for the client on a Maryland project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10 years of project management experience on civil/structural/architectural projects.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to project safety planning with corporate safety and provides jobsite leadership.
• Develops project controls, procedures, and risk mitigation for contract requirements.
• Establishes and monitors change management and financial forecasting to meet contract requirements.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan aligned with contract documents and assists execution.
• Develops a closeout plan in alignment with contract documents and assists execution.
• Provides leadership to motivate the project team and supervise project staff and engineers.
