Kids for the Future is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee new construction and remodel projects in Austin, coordinating site activities and aligning with project goals. The role requires leading GCs, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensuring quality within schedule and budget.

Must have a High School Diploma; a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is preferred, with CCM/AC/CPC designations desirable. Five+ years in construction management is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Five+ years of management experience on new construction and/or remodeling projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, codes, scheduling, and ability to read contracts/technical drawings.
• CCM, AC, CPC designations are preferred credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee work sites for new construction and remodel projects, coordinating site activities.
• Direct general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers to align with project goals.
• Schedule and coordinate projects to meet deadlines within budget.
• Address delays, weather, or emergencies and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain safety and ensure compliance with building codes throughout.
