Job summary

TAIT & Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced On-Site Construction Project Manager to oversee active construction projects and serve as the primary point of contact with the General Contractor.

This field-focused role requires hands-on expertise across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to coordinate field activities and drive projects toward completion. The position emphasizes 60–75% on-site work with travel across Los Angeles, Orange County, and Riverside.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction/project mgmt or related.
• Experience as main contact with General Contractor during construction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact with General Contractor, client, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Provide on-site construction management and monitor progress, schedule, quality, and field activities.
• Coordinate construction activities across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
• Review and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, field issues, punch lists, closeout items.
• Identify construction conflicts and coordinate with contractors/design teams to drive resolution.
• Lead construction meetings and maintain project documentation, action items, status reporting.
• Support schedules, budgets, risk tracking, and PMO reporting.
• Support additional projects within TAIT’s national retail and multi-site programs.
