Job summary

Gilbane Development Company is seeking a Project Management Intern in Kingston, RI for December 2026/January 2027 through July 2027. You'll support the on-site management team on a 1,100+ bed student housing project at URI, handling documentation and site-verification tasks.

Position requires flexible hours with site hours 9:00 am–5:00 pm, including weekends, to align with the project schedule and the student’s classes. Training provided by PM/Development Manager.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar program
• Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating documents to track construction progress and punch lists.
• Verify completion of work and correct punch list items with guidance from PM/Development Manager.
• Support coordination of FF&E vendors and track items before turnover to property management.
• Confirm FF&E installation quantities and develop punch lists for discrepancies.
• Assist with receipt and placement of incidental FF&E items.
