Job summary

ECC is seeking a junior or senior undergraduate student to join our team at Camp Lejeune, NC, for an on-site internship in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. This hands-on role supports field operations, quality management, project administration, and construction execution on facilities construction projects.

Hours are full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) for Summer 2027, with a reporting line to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

Undergraduate student (junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
On-site internship at Camp Lejeune requires eligibility to obtain military base access.
Program is a summer internship at approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Support Project Manager, Superintendent, and Quality Control staff with daily construction operations.
Assist with field inspections and project documentation.
Attend client and subcontractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Support project tracking, scheduling updates, and reporting.
Assist with subcontractor coordination and site logistics.
Help maintain project records and electronic filing systems.
Monitor adherence to safety and quality requirements.
