Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to oversee the receipt, organization, and distribution of electrical materials on large construction projects. You will log materials, stock the lay-down yard, and coordinate with Superintendents and Procurement to meet project needs.

Responsibilities include building kits, signing deliveries, updating inventory records, and reporting shortages. Candidates should have 4+ years in electrical construction, OSHA 10, and a forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 4+ years of electrical construction/materials field experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Forklift license and ability to operate forklift/lull equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate material status with Superintendent and Procurement.
• Build, stock, and stage material kits; ensure proper quantities.
• Sign for delivered materials and organize storage.
• Maintain packing slips and verify against purchase orders.
• Record received materials in inventory Excel with dates, quantities, and descriptions.
• Identify material shortfalls and report to Lead Superintendent.
• Maintain lay-down yard organization and stock shelves.
• Fulfill field material requests for on-time site delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve material logistics.
• Submit quality discrepancy reports to Lead Superintendent.
