Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Construction Management/Civil Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in construction or related field.
• Understanding of building plans and specifications.
• OSHA 30 required.

Responsibilities

• Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Interprets contract drawings and submittals, provides technical assistance.
• Manage select self-perform and subcontractor operations including safety, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Assist Superintendent/PM with daily reports, safety walks, and schedule updates.
• Understand the project schedule and critical path; participate in short-term planning.
• Contribute to quality program through inspections and material verification.
• Interface professionally with client reps, A-E reps, other contractors, and officials.
• Participate in business development and generate leads for future projects.
• Attend monthly superintendent meetings, safety meetings, and training sessions.
• Develop skills to become a Superintendent and manage all project aspects.
