Job summary

Food Tech is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to provide on-site leadership for construction projects nationwide. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, and work with project management and design teams to meet safety, schedule, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will work on-site at construction projects nationwide and must have 10+ years in food production facility construction, strong read-ability

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong scheduling, quality control, and site management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate others effectively.
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional approach.
• Develop firm but fair working relationships with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site construction supervision and leadership.
• Coordinate trade subcontractors and owner vendors.
• Maintain and track the master project schedule.
• Prepare daily site reports and three-week lookahead schedules.
• Assist Project Manager with monthly reports on permitting, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Review subcontractor scopes and coordinate inspections with officials.
• Lead orientation and weekly on-site coordination meetings.
