Job summary

Food Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to provide on-site leadership for construction projects across the country.

This role will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, and collaborate with management and design teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and high quality. The successful candidate will work on-site at construction projects nationwide, with opportunities for annual bonuses and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in food production facility construction and site leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Strong scheduling, quality control, and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented.
• Readiness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• OSHA 10/30 training; design-build experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site construction supervision and leadership.
• Schedule, sequence, and coordinate trade subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain and track the master project schedule.
• Create and maintain three-week lookahead schedules.
• Assist Project Manager with monthly reports (permitting, schedule, budget, quality).
• Review subcontractor scopes, coordinate inspections, and lead coordination meetings.
• Walk the site to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Ensure materials are properly incorporated and resolve conflicts.
• Prepare daily site reports and manage punch lists and closeout.
