Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Dallas to plan and execute construction programs, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence. You will lead on-site activities, manage documents, and coordinate with trades to uphold our standards.

You’ll supervise field engineers, communicate expectations, and contribute to safety programs while partnering with project teams to drive progress and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in related construction fields.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute construction documents to the project team (plans, specs, RFIs, bulletins, field reports).
• Manage layout and verify field dimensions for accuracy.
• Verify subcontractor layout aligns with line and grade.
• Administer Quality Management Program; document deficiencies and track to resolution.
• Monitor on-site progress to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.
