Job summary

Eastern Companies is seeking an on-site Construction Coordinator to assist project managers and supervision in planning, coordinating, and executing activities on active construction sites. You will interpret plans, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of construction experience, a related degree, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of construction-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, specs, and project documentation.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and superintendents in planning, coordinating, and executing on-site construction activities.
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Conduct daily site inspections for progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Track quantities, materials, and equipment to support documentation and cost control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain field reports, RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
