Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Community & Events Coordinator to support our data center project in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. This on-site, project-based role focuses on local community engagement, events, and coordination tied directly to active construction operations.

The position collaborates with the project leadership team, client representatives, and local stakeholders to plan outreach, coordinate site tours, and manage event logistics while upholding project standards and branding.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in community relations, event coordination, operations support, communications, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with local community preferred.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-through skills.
• Experience interacting with the public and representing an active construction project.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Holder's on-site point of contact for community groups, neighbors, schools, chambers, and civic organizations related to the project.
• Support community outreach efforts, local initiatives, and sponsorships connected to project activity
• Assist qualified local businesses in connecting with project opportunities
• Coordinate site tours, community meetings, and outreach events as appropriate
• Help foster and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders in the community.
• Plan and support project-related events, including groundbreakings, milestones, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and community engagement events
• Manage event logistics such as scheduling, vendors, catering, invitations, and on-site execution
• Coordinate with project leadership, owner representatives, trade partners, and local officials as needed
• Support accurate tracking and documentation of event and outreach activities
• Work closely with the on-site project team to align community and event efforts with jobsite operations
• Help ensure materials and messaging align with approved project standards and branding
• Support planning and execution of intern and workforce-related events, including site orientations and engagement activities
