Job summary

Holder Construction seeks a on-site Community & Events Coordinator to support a Richmond, VA data center project. The role focuses on local community engagement, events, and day-to-day coordination tied to active construction operations.

You will work closely with the project leadership team, client representatives, and local stakeholders to support community outreach, site-related events, and ongoing coordination throughout the life of the project.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in community relations, event coordination, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with local community preferred.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and follow-through abilities.
• Experience representing a construction project to the public.
• Experience with construction or large developments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site contact for community groups, neighbors, and civic organizations.
• Plan and coordinate community outreach activities and site tours.
• Support project-related events including groundbreakings and open houses.
• Prepare event materials and track outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with project leadership and local stakeholders.
