Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc is seeking a Communications Associate based on-site at our Dallas or Houston offices. You will support public relations and community engagement for mission-critical projects while assisting broader corporate communications initiatives.

You will serve as the day-to-day on-site communications resource for Technology projects, coordinating with client teams and local stakeholders, and traveling to jobsites up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related fields.
• 2–4 years’ experience in public relations, community relations, or public affairs; agency, municipal, or infrastructure outreach valued.
• Experience in a fast-paced B2B or professional services environment; AEC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Embedded on-site communications and community relations resource for data center projects; visit jobsites to anticipate impacts.
• Coordinate communications for construction activities, signage, traffic flow, and neighborhood liaison.
• Write and distribute community bulletins, construction alerts, and outreach materials.
