Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas and manage valve operation.
• Adjust flame temperature and flow to meet specifications and weld requirements.
• Preheat work pieces for welding preparation and shaping as specified.
• Inspect pieces with straightedge or template to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Assist with hoisting and positioning of heavy components and coordinate with crane operations.
