Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welds and tack welds pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Joins pipes from torch to tanks, operates valves for gas mixtures.
• Preheats work pieces and prepares welding surfaces per procedures.
• Inspects welds and measures parts to meet specifications.
• Goes on ladders or scaffolds to access work pieces.
• Provides signals for crane operations when moving heavy pieces.
• Operates cutting equipment to dismount metal assemblies.
• Follows safety policies and reports any issues.
