Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator for our Mount Carroll, Illinois facility. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment, inspect parts for quality, and support production. This full-time hourly position pays $16-$19/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM. This on-site role requires safety, 5S, and adherence to procedures. Applicants should have a high school diploma, blueprints literacy, basic math and computer skills, and reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive assigned tasks to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.
• Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
• Inspect completed parts to confirm they meet quality requirements.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
• Complete required documents accurately and maintain production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
