Job summary
Precinmac in South Paris, Maine, is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair, calibrate, and modify complex CNC tooling and control systems. You will support both mechanical and electronic subsystems, work on FANUC/MAZAK controls, and perform preventive maintenance in a safety-conscious facility.
The role requires hands-on experience with machinery, reading schematics, and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies with precision tolerances.
- Minimum of two years’ experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Proven experience with CNC machine maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair and calibrate CNC machine tools and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot programming/tooling/setup issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure documentation is updated.
- Adhere to safety regulations including LOTO and NFPA 70e standards.
- Operate electronic, hydraulic and mechanical test equipment as needed.
