Job summary

MELALEUCA INC in Knoxville, TN is hiring for a full-time on-site manufacturing associate who sets up and operates filling lines for tubes and bottles. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with a performance-based pay review after 6 months and longevity bonuses for milestone years.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of performing under stress in a production environment.
• Ability to lift 65 lbs repeatedly through an 8-hour shift.
• Excellent manual dexterity for handling equipment and products.
• Basic math skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret product labels and reports.
• Ability to organize tasks and coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Hook up vats or tanks and prepare lines for operation.
• Adjust table height, fill levels, heat settings, caps, and rails.
• Clean components, check labels, stamps, and rails for accuracy.
• Operate filling lines, monitor fill levels and batch codes.
• Box products, palletize, and manage hopper and tube loader as needed.
• Fill out daily reports and assist in training others.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep area clean.
• Ensure quality compliance and proper lot sequencing.
• Enter data into the computer system and assist with changeovers.
• Direct line associates on filling line as needed.
