Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator to support classified information systems, focusing on patching, vulnerability management, incident response, and security automation. The role collaborates with a diverse team to define computing requirements and implement secure, cost-efficient environments for warfighters.

Requirements include Windows Server 2022/2025, Windows 11, RedHat Linux, and DoD 8140/8570 certifications within 6 months.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or directly relevant work experience.
Secret Clearance required, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
2-4+ years’ experience as a Network / System Administrator / IT.
Strong security awareness and ability to work in team or independently.
Experience with Windows Server (2022/2025) and Windows 11 Enterprise.
Experience with Linux (RedHat 8, 9) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Setup and maintain systems support for software, hardware, and servers, including testing, troubleshooting, and resolution for Classified Systems/Networks.
Apply application updates, OS upgrades and patching; configure RAID, backups, imaging and cloning.
Provide timely technical support to users, handling account management and computing requirements.
Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues.
Assist with incident response and backup processes/documentation.
