Job summary

Ledcor Heavy Civil on-site Superintendent role in Boise oversees earthworks construction, driving safe, efficient, high-quality execution while coordinating crews, plans, and schedules to align with project drawings and cost objectives.

You will be the on-ground lead, directing work methods, troubleshooting issues, and fostering strong relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain a collaborative, solutions-focused crew.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in a supervisory role in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing earthworks and project schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction operations per plans, specs, and standards.
• Maintain quality workmanship while optimizing labor and material efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols meeting corporate, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor construction schedules to meet milestones and production targets.
• Review invoices from suppliers and subcontractors for accuracy.
• Hire and manage hourly field staff with the Project Manager.
• Process field change orders with client representatives as needed.
• Lead planning meetings to ensure equipment readiness and continuity.
