Davey Resource Group, Inc. in Kent, Ohio seeks a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team and work on site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects from concept to built results.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of civil engineering experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and strong teamwork and communication skills; EIT is a plus and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork and communication.
• EIT certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare civil engineering plans, details, layouts, and construction documents.
• Work on site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Turn concepts and sketches into buildable designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, environmental professionals, and other team members; communicate with clients and project managers to keep projects moving.
• Assist with permitting, plan preparation, technical calculations, and project documentation.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering tools to develop and revise plans.
