Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join our Kent, Richfield, and Sharon Center team on a variety of projects.

You will work on site and contribute to site development, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and environmental professionals, produce plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and support permitting and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential for this role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and keep things moving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare civil engineering plans, details, layouts, and construction documents.
• Work on projects involving site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Turn concepts and sketches into practical, buildable designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, environmental professionals, and other team members; communicate with clients and project managers to keep projects moving.
• Assist with permitting, plan preparation, technical calculations, and project documentation.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other tools to develop and revise plans.
