Job summary

Keville Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Resident Engineer I to inspect public and private construction projects in Rocky Hill, CT. The candidate will oversee field activities, read plans, document progress, and interact with contractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

We seek someone with strong communication skills, proficiency in Word and Excel, and a BS in a related field plus CT PE license or CCM certification. On-site work and occasional after-hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Site Manager.
• Effective written and oral communication; eager to learn; team player.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and oversee construction work to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare reports, progress updates, and quantity takeoffs; maintain project records.
• Support contract administration and resolve field issues in a timely manner.
