Job summary

Simmons Pet Food is hiring a Chick Puller SW to operate the re-staker and destaker, ensuring proper placement of chick boxes on pallets and maintaining continuous flow in a production environment.

The role requires reading, writing and basic math skills, plus the ability to use a pallet jack. You will monitor pallet staging, help keep the area clean, and participate in team meetings and BEST practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be able to use a pallet jack.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the re-staker to ensure correct placement of chick boxes on pallets and the destaker for steady flow.
• Monitor staging of chick pallets to maximize air flow; move loaded pallets to the staging area.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized area and follow team policies; attend team meetings and support BEST practices.
