Join to apply for the On-Site Catering Attendant (lunch) role at Zerocater

Our On-Site Catering Attendants are the face of Zerocater, facilitating daily meal operations at major client sites. They aim to provide an excellent experience by engaging with clients and building relationships. You will ensure smooth meal service, answer questions, and connect with clients and coworkers, making new friends along the way.

What You Will Do

1. Facilitate Delivery Intake: Ensure smooth transportation of food from delivery to the client’s meal space, checking for missing items.
2. Oversee Meal Set-up/Clean-up: Assist with food layout, equipment setup, presentation, and proper storage of leftovers.
3. Maintain Cleanliness and Food Safety: Keep serving areas clean and organized during meal service.
4. Enhance Customer Experience: Greet guests, respond to requests, and address questions or concerns.
5. Gather Meal Feedback: Take inventory, collect employee preferences, communicate with onsite staff, and share feedback with HQ.

Qualifications for Success

• Experience in hospitality, food service, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist others.
• Responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Passion for food service and a customer-first mentality.
• Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one (cost covered by Zerocater).

Physical Requirements

• Lift at least 40 pounds.
• Kneel, crouch, and bend as needed.
• Walk up and down stairs.
• Stand and walk for 3-4 hours per shift.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Schedule

• Availability to work Tuesdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a set weekly schedule.
• Potential to pick up additional shifts when available.

Compensation

• Part-time position at $21.00/hour.
• $15.00 monthly stipend for cell phone usage.
• 401(k) match with immediate vesting.
