Job description

Our On-Site Catering Attendants are the face of Zerocater, facilitating daily meal operations at our major client sites. They provide excellent experiences by engaging with clients and building genuine relationships. Their role is vital in ensuring smooth meal service operations, acting as subject matter experts and enthusiastic representatives of Zerocater, believing that "the best ideas happen over food." They are on-site to answer questions, chat with clients and coworkers, and foster connections.

What you will do:

1. Facilitate Delivery Intake: Ensure smooth transportation of food from the vendor to the client’s meal space, verifying all items are present.
2. Oversee Meal Set-up/Clean-up: Assist with food layout, setup, presentation, replenishing dishes, and proper storage of leftovers.
3. Maintain Cleanliness/Food Safety: Keep serving areas clean and organized during the meal service.
4. Enhance Customer Experience: Greet guests, respond to requests, and address questions or concerns.
5. Collect Meal Feedback: Inventory food, gather employee preferences, communicate with onsite staff, and share insights with HQ.

Qualifications for success:

1. Background in hospitality, food service, or similar customer-facing roles.
2. Team-oriented with a willingness to help ensure smooth operations.
3. Responsible, attentive, and able to work independently.
4. Passionate about food service and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
5. Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate (cost covered by Zerocater).

Physical requirements:

1. Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
2. Ability to kneel, crouch, and bend.
3. Ability to walk up and down stairs.
4. Stand and walk for 3-4 hours per shift.
5. Must be at least 18 years old.

Schedule:

1. Availability to work Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with a set weekly schedule.
2. Potential to pick up additional shifts when available.

Compensation:

1. Part-time position at $21.00 per hour.
2. $15.00 monthly stipend for cell phone use.
3. 401(k) match with immediate vesting.
