Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Case Manager to join our team. The Case Manager will assist attorneys in developing settlements, preparing documents, and managing a varied caseload. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, organized, and able to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff.

This on-site role supports the firm’s mission to protect clients and deliver exceptional service while coordinating with medical providers, insurance carriers, and clients to advance case outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
• 2+ years in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive computer and database experience; MS Word, Excel, Outlook; 35 wpm minimum.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with existing and potential clients by phone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
• Obtain documents to support injury/liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and deduct outstanding medical balances with providers.
• Collaborate with coworkers supporting case files and manage case files from intake to closing under an attorney.
