Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, manage a varied caseload, assist attorneys with settlements, prepare documents, and communicate with clients and providers. A customer-focused, empathetic approach is essential.

On-site role with opportunities to contribute across cases, coordinate with insurers, and support attorneys from intake to resolution. Prior legal experience preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
• At least 2 years in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with attention to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
• Obtain documents to support injury and liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate deductions of medical balances.
• Work with coworkers involved in managing and supporting case files.
• Maintain organized case files.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and submit to carriers.
• Interact with attorneys and present case summaries when required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction.
