Job summary

SERVPRO of Wright County is hiring a Carpenter to support Little Falls and Park Rapids. The role covers carpentry, drywall, trim, and appliance installation with 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. hours, Monday–Friday, and local travel required.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of construction experience, strong carpentry skills, and solid communication. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2 years of construction experience
• Detail oriented with problem-solving aptitude
• Effective written and oral communication
• Basic math skills
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment, tools and their applications
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
• Possess good carpentry skills including trim work and framing

Responsibilities

• Perform construction activities
• Perform basic installation and minor repair to flooring systems (carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate)
• Perform drywall repairs (hanging, taping, finishing)
• Install trim, base, and molding
• Install doors and hardware
• Install cabinets, countertops, and components
• Perform basic painting (caulking, filling crevices)
• Install common appliances (refrigerators, microwaves, ovens)
• Install residential windows and components
• Perform board ups as necessary
• Repair punch list items
• Basic cleanup after work completion
• Ensure work meets industry standards and local codes
• Suggest additional repairs when identified
• Document all work performed
• Execute work orders promptly
