Job summary

PlayOn is seeking a Field Service Technician to manage and maintain a fleet of cameras across a designated service area, primarily in schools. The role blends hands-on installation and proactive maintenance with responsive on-site support for client sites.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and communicate solutions clearly to school staff, while ensuring safety standards and accurate service records. Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and traveling within the region are required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding and rapid learning of new software/hardware.
• Experience with IP camera systems, computers, networking, and low voltage cabling.
• Proven customer-facing experience with professional staff interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of camera systems.
• Provide on-site technical support for camera and internet service issues.
• Conduct proactive school visits to ensure equipment functionality and resolve potential issues.
