Job summary

Mid-State Supply is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to travel to customer locations and inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cabinetry products, delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will diagnose issues, interpret cabinet drawings, and perform on-site adjustments while maintaining safety standards and high-quality craftsmanship. Ideal candidates bring carpentry skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of residential construction, remodeling, cabinetry.
• Strong carpentry skills and ability to repair/finish cabinets.
• Experience reading cabinet plans, elevations or designs (20/20 Design a plus).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair cabinetry concerns, including finish, functionality, installation, and cabinet integrity.
• Perform on-site adjustments, touch-ups, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret cabinet drawings, blueprints, and design layouts.
• Determine root cause of product issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, builders, and internal teams.
• Document service work using company software and mobile technology.
• Travel daily to customer locations within the service area.
