PSI Molded Plastics in Marion, SC is seeking a Buyer to source, purchase, and manage materials for plastic injection molding operations. You will collaborate with suppliers, production, quality, and inventory teams to ensure on-time delivery of quality materials at the best cost.

The role requires ERP/MRP experience (DELMIAworks preferred) and strong negotiation, Excel skills, and attention to detail. On-site work only with occasional audits of supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems required; DELMIAworks preferred; SAP/Oracle/EPICor or similar considered.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business software.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.

Responsabilités

• Source and purchase resin, masterbatch, colorant, components, packaging, MRO, mold components, tooling spares, and outside processing services.
• Issue POs and ensure confirmations are received and accurate.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor material availability and cost fluctuations; manage supplier performance.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and coordinate with other facilities as needed.
