Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer (Static) to support hands-on maintenance of building systems for four financial institution properties in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC. The role involves minor repairs and helping run preventive maintenance to keep systems operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life-safety systems, supervising contractors, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance.
• Accredited trade school degree in HVAC, electronic, or related trade; union training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire alarm, Life Safety, and Control systems.
• Manage facility services, preventive maintenance, procurement, and inventory; supervise contractors as needed.
• Monitor HVAC and related equipment, review monthly service summaries, and ensure compliance with safety policies.
