Job summary

Formel D is seeking an experienced On-Site Supervisor to support automotive quality operations at customer locations. You will oversee sorting, rework, and containment projects and serve as the main liaison between the customer, technicians, engineers, and internal teams.

You will lead onsite teams, ensure accurate work instructions and quality standards, coordinate with customers, and monitor payroll hours and project documentation in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience in quality inspection, sorting, and manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and cosmetic standards.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sorting, rework, and containment projects in support of OEM customers
• Lead onsite teams and ensure proper execution of work instructions and quality standards
• Support issue resolution, project planning, and corrective actions
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and maintain communication between shifts and departments
• Verify payroll hours and maintain project documentation
• Ensure team training, safety compliance, and positive team morale
• Attend customer meetings and provide updates on project status
• Support customer communication and daily operational needs
