Job summary

Formel D is seeking a hands-on Team Lead - Quality to supervise a team of Quality Inspectors at the customer site. The role balances team coordination, inspection accuracy, and project support to ensure work meets automotive quality standards for timeliness and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of leadership experience, 2-4 years in quality inspection in automotive, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site work with 10-12 hour shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2-4 years of quality inspection or production experience in the automotive industry.
• 1+ year of leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, or similar role).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead others with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assign, monitor, and guide the daily work of Quality Inspectors.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, safety reminders, and customer requirements.
• Coach and mentor inspectors to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Ensure all team members receive and understand proper training.
• Promote teamwork, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive morale.
