Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association in Boardman, Oregon is seeking an Automation Technician to support plant operations, including programming for new installations, updating existing programs, troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration, and capital improvements.

You will train technicians, collaborate with IT, manage documentation, and uphold safety and quality standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3+ years PLC/HMI experience and Oregon electrical license preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using MS Office software.
• Experience using CMMS or SQL-based maintenance databases.
• 3+ years PLC and HMI programming and software installation.
• Oregon electrical license (LME or higher) preferred; Wonderware experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; AA/BA or equivalent work experience; technical training in industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for plant operations, including programming for new installations and updating existing programs.
• Troubleshoot control systems and calibrate instrumentation.
• Maintain software, PLC/HMI version control and documentation.
• Train maintenance and production staff on processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and outside contractors; install and upgrade control equipment.
• Establish and maintain relationships across teams; communicate effectively.
