Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing, automation, or controls experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and process docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support automation and process-control solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive processes.
• Support PLCs, HMIs, sensors, robotics, vision systems, and other equipment.
• Integrate equipment with ERP, MES, data collection, and production systems.
• Troubleshoot system, equipment, and process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment startups, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, equipment standards, and SOPs.
• Analyze processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and cost.
• Use Lean, 6S, standard work, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, downtime, and variation.
• Develop and implement process improvements using data and metrics.
• Establish process capability, cycle-time standards, and performance requirements.
• Support capital projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
