Qualifications

• Familiarity with eligibility verification, benefits, and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors authorizations for upcoming surgical cases and ensures timely approvals.
• Verifies demographics, insurance eligibility, and coordination of benefits.
• Completes surgical cost estimation forms for pre-service collection.
• Documents authorizations and progress in the patient chart and case management.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, patients, and staff to resolve issues.
